Roger Ailes Becomes Roger Ebert

When did Roger Ailes become a movie critic? Recent ads for the compelling WW2 movie “The Great Raid” include the usual movie reviewer quotes, plus this one:

“The best war movie to be produced in years. It’s wrapped in courage, patriotism and honor. In these troubled times, young and old alike should see this film. It’s a reason to go back to movie theaters!”

It’s tagged “Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO, Fox News.” (After Googling this, I noticed that Daily Kos picked it up earlier this month.) According to a tipster, Ailes also calls it an “excellent and inspirational film.”
