Roy Jones Jr. Returns To HBO In Permanent Spot
Roy Jones Jr. knows his career is rapidly coming to an end.
As a result, the characteristic boxer is returning full-time to HBO Sports as a permanent expert analyst on HBO Boxing After Dark.
“We were not searching for a permanent analyst on the Boxing After Dark series, but Roy simply blew us away with his performance as a guest analyst last year and we decided it’s time to bring him back,” said Rick Bernstein, senior vice president and executive producer of HBO Sports. “This will be a seamless transition for a person who has been a member of the HBO family since 1992 and will enhance our telecasts.”
Sadly, Roy is rumored to step in the ring again on March 11, despite back-to-back defeats to the likes of Danny Green and Bernard Hopkins.
Let it go, Roy. Let. It. Go.
