#s: HLN Continues To Beat MSNBC

Is it now fair to say that CNN Headline News is the #3 cable news net? In March, for the fourth consecutive month, Headline News outperformed MSNBC in total viewers (247,000 vs. 242,000) and the 25-54 demo (107,000 vs. 94,000).

In Q1, HLN outdelivered MSNBC by 6% in total viewers (232,000 vs. 219,000) and the demo (101,000 to 85,000). “This is the first quarter since Q4 99 in which HLN outdelivered MSNBC in both P2+ and P25-54 in total day,” CNN noted.
