Sean Hannity: ‘I Had to Pay Tens and Tens of Thousands’ in Political Contribution Case

HannityLast night, Sean Hannity revealed a hefty sum he paid his lawyer to win a case charging him with an improper political contribution.

“I had to pay tens and tens of thousands of dollars to a lawyer to win the case,” Hannity said during his show’s #AskSean segment about a legal case that charged him with making improper in-kind political contributions.

Hannity explained his payment was in response to the head of the New York Democratic Party accusing him of an improper contribution: linking to his childhood best friend’s campaign website from his own website.

The revelation came while Hannity responded to a report that suggests government officials are looking to increase regulations on conservative media figures like Hannity and Matt Drudge.
