Shelley Ross “Not Expected Back”
The NY Post’s Page Six reports that, “Shelley Ross, the beleaguered executive producer of CBS’s ‘The Early Show,’ is not expected back.”
Yesterday TVNewser reported that Ross had not come in to work Tuesday or Wednesday, and sources say she was not in today either. Also reported was a meeting held between Ross and staffers after Monday’s show. The Post writes, “At that meeting, a tearful Ross told her mutinous staff, ‘You may end up winning the war.’”
Sources tell TVNewser, CBS News & Sports president Sean McManus has already spoken with two potential EP candidates, one internal, and one from outside CBS News.
