Shep Returns To Mississippi Today

FNC’s Shep Smith returned to the Gulf Coast this week to describe the devastation that still exists there. He anchored Studio B and Fox Report live from New Orleans Monday and Tuesday. Here’s what he said yesterday afternoon:

“Here in New Orleans, where even now, the entire neighborhood in which we stand is a total mess…Let’s go back to the days after the storm now. The first couple of days following it, when the water stood all over this neighborhood and did for weeks on end. They were eventually able to get the water out, but they were not able to make this area livable. Still to this day, the mayor talks about come home to New Orleans. He is not talking about people who live in this neighborhood, for it is not safe to live in.”
