Shep Smith Would Love To Anchor An 11pm Show On The Fox Broadcast Net

shepjuly26.jpgShep Smith “says he’d love to do an 11pm newscast for the Fox broadcast network. Fast-paced, of course. ‘It can be an outstanding vehicle,’ he says. Fasten your seat belts.”

That forward-thinking news nugget comes at the end of an excellent TV Guide profile of the Fox News anchor in this week’s issue. Here’s another tidbit: “Smith will be bringing his rapid-fire style to radio later this summer, with a nightly five-minute newscast from Fox on 250 stations nationwide,” Stephen Battaglio writes. Shep promises the newscast “will be fast as lightning.”
