Fox News Channel is planning a one-hour special on the devastation facing Japan to air in primetime tonight and this weekend.

“Fox News Reporting: The Disaster in japan” will be anchored by Shepard Smith, and will run tonight at 9 PM, preempting “Hannity.” It will also run Saturday March 19 at 3 PM and Sunday March 20 at 3 and 9 PM.

Correspondents will weigh in on the devastation they saw, including Fox Business network’s Adam Shapiro, who has been that channel’s lead reporter in the country. It will also feature the special reports filed throughout the week updating viewers on the situation there.
