Stewart on Helen Thomas: ‘That Joke Killed When She Told It to Moses’

John Stewart opened “The Daily Show” broadcast last night with his take on the Helen Thomas situation from over the weekend:

The NY Daily News has more today on media orgs pitching to get Thomas’ old seat, with a decision that could be made as early as Thursday.

Meanwhile, Fox New’s Brit Hume explained today that when Thomas went to Hearst from UPI, the seat was supposed to go to FNC, but Thomas was allowed to keep it out of respect. Now, he feels the seat should finally go to FNC and Major Garrett.
