“Studio Beeyatch,” Goin’ Rogue and an “O.J.-Free White Van”
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart spent a segment discussing recent TV news storylines, starting with yesterday’s heart-pumping car chase.
“For one hour MSNBC and FOX followed an O.J.-Free White Van, as it tried to be the first car in history to not get caught during a televised police chase,” said Stewart.
After a fake trailer of Gov. Sarah Palin starring in, “Goin’ Rogue,” he turned his attention to Joe the Plumber and his recent rogue-like comments and subsequent appearance on Tuesday’s Studio B with Shepard Smith. “Even FOX’s Shep Smith went Studio Beeyatch on him,” said Stewart, and after playing Smith’s post-interview comments, continued, “Shep Smith has gone rogue! Shep Smith has gone rogue! I guess you could say he’s now the black ‘Shep’ of the Fox family.”
