Sunday Show Ratings: May 9
Betty White‘s turn as host of SNL gave NBC a huge Saturday night, but didn’t do much for NBC’s Sunday morning as “Meet the Press,” and two of the other Sunday public affairs, were down week-to-week. Maybe those Mother’s Day brunches?
Still, “MTP” was the most-watched Sunday show followed by CBS’ “Face the Nation,” ABC’s “This Week,” and “Fox News Sunday.” FNS was the only show to grow week-to-week in total viewers.
“This Week” saw its lowest total viewer audience since July, 2006 despite guest Attorney General Eric Holder in one of his first Sunday show sit-downs.
Cable and network rebroadcasts of “MTP” drew an additional 1,018,000 viewers. “Fox News Sunday” drew an additional 1,594,000 total viewers on cable replays.
