Sunday Show Ratings: November 17

A big win for “Face the Nation” on November 17: the CBS show averaged 4.6 million viewers, its best total viewer delivery in 12 years. The show, which originated from Dallas and covered the 50th anniversary of JFK’s assassination, built on its prior-week total audience by +52%.

“Face” is also showing the most growth compared to the same week last year, up +32% in total viewers and +40% in the A25-54 demographic. NBC’s “Meet the Press” (+ 9% / +14%) and ABC’s “This Week” (+3% / +6%) were up in both ratings measurements, while Univision’s “Al Punto” was up +12% in total viewers and flat in the demo. “Fox News Sunday” was down -5% in total viewers and -27% in the demo.

Cable replays of “Fox News Sunday” averaged a combined 1,910,000 total viewers and 295,000 A25-54 viewers. Cable rebroadcasts of “Meet the Press” delivered an additional 1,368,000 total viewers and 699,000 A25-54 viewers.

“Face the Nation” is based on the first half-hour only, as the full contiguous hour aired in just 50% of the country.
