Sunday's NCAA Regional Finals Scores 8.5 Overnight Rating

Through the first two rounds of the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship, the ratings average-to-date in metered markets is a 6.8/14, up 15 percent from a 5.9/13 for CBS Sports’ 2010 coverage, according to Nielsen.

Sunday’s coverage of the regional finals on CBS delivered a overnight household rating/share of 8.5/17.

Let’s see how a VCU vs. Butler showdown on Saturday night will do in the ratings.
