Despite reports to the contrary, T.J. Holmes is not returning to CNN, at least not as an employee. Holmes left CNN in December for a job at BET. On Twitter this week, he wrote, “On a flight w/my old CNN boss. We’re negotiating my return.” And in a later Tweet: “I expect to announce to you all this week some news about my future.” That got some thinking, rightly so, that Holmes may be leaving BET and returning to CNN. But in a Tweet a few minutes ago, Holmes wrote:

Mystery solved. Don’t be surprised if Holmes makes a return to CNN to promote his new BET show.
