Adrian Healey has been named ESPN’s primary voice for Major League Soccer telecasts beginning this season. Healey will share the booth with former U.S. Men’s National Team captain John Harkes.

Healey’s debut will come in the 2011 MLS season opener when the Los Angeles Galaxy travels to Seattle Sounders FC on March 15 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

If you followed ESPN’s World Cup coverage, you’re familiar with Healey’s work. He served as a play-by-play commentator for ESPN and ABC in South Africa (2010) and Germany (2006).

Healey has been at ESPN since 2003 and also hosts ESPN Soccernet Press Pass on ESPN’s International English-language networks around the world. Read more
