Boston Red Sox announcer Jerry Remy will miss his sixth consecutive game Monday night due to illness.

“Doctor just confirmed I have a bit of pneumonia,” Remy tweeted. “Suggested we get it under control before doing (the) Red Sox game. It’s day by day I guess.”

Peter Gammons, Dennis Eckersley and Rick Dempsey have all filled in for Remy on the NESN broadcasts.
