Cable Network Ranker: Week of March 18

A slew of entertainment and a relative dearth of news resulted in lower-than normal ratings for the cable news channels last week, while entertainment networks flourished.

Fox News led the way among the cable news channels, placing 6th in primetime and 3rd in total day among ad-supported cable channels (7th and 4th among all cable channels). MSNBC placed 26th and 32nd among ad-suppored channels (27th and 33rd among all channels), while HLN once again rode the Jodi Arias trial to 28th in primetime and 24th in total day. CNN placed 34th in both primetime and total day.

Current TV placed last among all channels in primetime, and 93rd in total day, both below Nielsen’s minimum accuracy threshold.

Watch What Happens as Bravo Digital Media’s New Project Manager

1006_jobpost_200x200

Have you watched every “Top Chef” franchise religiously? Are you pumped to see Patti Stanger in action in NYC? Can’t decide who your favorite real housewife is? Well, we have the job for you. Bravo Digital Media is looking for an experienced project manager to oversee both front- and back-end projects across all its properties, including BravoTV.com, the Emerging Media group and TelevisionWithoutPity.com.

The gig requires you to manage project plans and schedules, driving them to successful completion. You’ll be working with development, design, editorial, advertising, marketing, research, and other teams to track deliverables and meet deadlines as outlined. Basically, you need to be an organizational machine, who can kindly crack the whip.

You must have at least five years of project management experience, be proficient in CMS and have experience developing detailed plans. You don’t need to be a total techie, but you should be familiar enough with HTML, CSS and more in order to be able to identify problems. If you think you have what it takes, apply here.
