Additional changes may be made, but for now here is the latest on the assignments in Gaza, Israel and beyond.

ABC News has Christiane Amanpour in Jerusalem, joined by Lama Hasan. Matt Gutman is reporting for ABC from Tel Aviv, while Alexander Marquardt reports from Gaza.

NBC News has Ayman Mohyeldin and Richard Engel in Gaza, Stephanie Gosk and Martin Fletcher in Tel Aviv, Jim Maceda in Cairo, Egypt and Ali Rouzi in Tehran, Iran.

CBS News has Clarissa Ward reporting from Cairo, Charlie D’Agata reporting from Gaza and Allen Pizzey reporting from Israel.

Fox News has Jerusalem correspondents Leland Vittert and David Lee Miller reporting from southwestern Israel, near the Gaza border.

“It’s indescribable,” D’Agata told “CBS This Morning” hosts Gayle King and Charlie Rose. CBS is the first American television network to broadcast live from the top of Big Ben. Watch:

Ward will join CBS in December, where she will report from Kabul, Afghanistan for all of the CBS News platforms and shows, including the “CBS Evening News” and “60 Minutes.” Eventually she will be based out of CBS’ London bureau.

Ward had been based in Asia for ABC News, covering events such as the Japanese tsunami and Russian elections. She last appeared on ABC in July. Before joining ABC she was a correspondent for Fox News Channel where she covered the Middle East.

In a memo to staff this morning announcing the hire, CBS News president David Rhodes said that given the situation in the Middle East, the company would have two correspondents reporting from the region, adding that “we are keeping that commitment until we see a significant change on the ground.”

CBS has also announced that Charlie D’Agata will become a full-time correspondent for CBS, based out of London. D’Agata had been London correspondent for CBS Newspath, and before that was CBS Radio’s chief overseas correspondent.

Christiane Amanpour is among the network anchors packing their bags and heading for Japan. Amanpour will host “This Week” from Tokyo on Sunday, the only Sunday show host to do so. ABC News says “World News” weekend anchor David Muir, and correspondent Clarissa Ward are also en route to Japan to report on the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami.

For NBC News Weekend “Today” and Weekend “Nightly News” anchor Lester Holt, is on his way as is “Today” news anchor Ann Curry. Correspondent Lee Cowan, and Ian Williams are in route as well.

For CBS News, anchor Harry Smith will lead coverage for the network. Correspondent Lucy Craft continues her reporting and correspondents Bill Whitaker and Charlie D’Agata are also en route.

For Fox News, correspondents Adam Housley, David Piper and Greg Palkot are en route.

And here’s who is going, or already there, for CNN.

But it’s Amanpour who gives real meaning to the term globetrotter.
