EA Sports Planning Studio in Austin, TX

EA Sports, which currently has studios in Burnaby, British Columbia, and Maitland, Florida, is reportedly scouting locations in Austin, Texas, for a third North American studio.

“We have aggressive plans for expansion, and I will be visiting Austin, Texas, this week to assess potential space for a new EA Sports studio location,” COO Daryl Holt said in an internal memo obtained by IGN Entertainment Games. “Our goal is to attract, hire and retain the industry’s best talent.”

And bam! Site down.

If you’re interested in the NYT story, Emma Carmichael provides the details at Deadspin.

And based on this clip, that aired during RAW on Monday night, there’s a good reason why he was left off television.

It gives new meaning to the “Stand Up For WWE” campaign.

Happy Election Day.
