In addition, Mike Tirico of ESPN was selected as the 2010 National Sportscaster of the Year and Sports Illustrated writer Peter King was selected as the National Sportswriter of the Year.

All five, along with 110 State Sportscasters and Sportswriters of the Year, will be honored during the NSSA’s 52nd Annual Awards Weekend on May 14-16.
