The Name’s Blitzer, Wolf Blitzer

Britain’s intelligence service, MI6, is under intense scrutiny. The agency’s leader, a woman known only as “M,” is facing a public grilling from bureaucrats, and on CNN, Wolf Blitzer updates viewers on the latest intrigue surrounding the normally secretive agency.

CNN’s Blitzer plays himself in the new James Bond movie Skyfall, which opens today in theaters. Blitzer is actually the second CNNer to make a guest appearance in a major movie this month. Flight, the Denzel Washington film that opened last week, features “Piers Morgan Tonight” anchor Piers Morgan. Morgan covers the fallout from a plane crash, in which Washington’s character was the pilot.

Blitzer, however, may have one-upped his English colleague with his appearance in what is arguably Britain’s most beloved film franchise. Certainly worthy of a martini. Shaken, not stirred, of course.

Reggie Bush To Appear on Reality Show

Reggie Bush is no stranger to reality television, having appeared on several shows starring former girlfriend Kim Kardashian. This time. however, the focus will be on Bush, who is making an appearance on a new CBS show called “Same Name,” which features celebrities switching places with people with the same name. Bush, a running back for the New Orleans Saints, is swapping lives with a construction worker in Danville, Illinois for a week this summer, so that the construction worker gets to experience the life of an NFL player during a lockout. Hopefully this won’t raise the odds that the construction worker gets arrested.

The experiment will air on CBS in July.
