With English-language election coverage spread out across the cable and broadcast networks, there are plenty of choices for interested viewers. Spanish-speaking viewers that want to find out the latest results have fewer options.
Luckily, Univision is bringing out its star anchors for its midterm election coverage, which it is calling “Destino 2010.”
Jorge Ramos and Maria Elena Salinas, who are the co-anchors of the network’s evening news program “Noticiero Univision” will lead the coverage, joined by late-night news anchors Edna Schmidt and Enrique Teuteló. Coverage will begin with the evening news at 6:30, followed by additional live coverage at 10 and 11:30 PM.
Analysts will include Democrat Maria Cardona and Republican Adolfo Franco, along with Arnoldo Torres, and Helen Aguirre Ferre.
