Now Alex Jones Has A Problem with CNN’s Bathrooms

Following his over-the-top interview with Piers Morgan the other night, radio talk show host and second amendment advocate Alex Jones gloated about making a CNN producer cry, he explained why he didn’t wear a jacket: “I don’t respect that show,” and why he’s got a problem with the bathrooms at the Time Warner Center in New York, home to CNN studios.

“When I was at CNN a decade ago, it was glistening,” he said on his radio show Tuesday. “It looks like Hitler’s bunker… torn-up carpet, feces all over the wall and on the floor in the bathroom. It’s rotting. It literally looked like a gas station bathroom in the worst part of town. It was rotting and those people were in hell.”

On his show last night, Morgan took up the topic of gun control legislation with a panel including Buzz Bissinger, Abby Huntsman, and Gloria Allred. And that got some reaction from Jones on Twitter, when Bissinger joked to Morgan, “Challenge Alex Jones to a boxing match, show up with a semi-automatic that you got legally, and pop him.”

What’s Barbara Walters Up To?

Well, we’re glad you asked.

Showing she’s got range wider than Ted Turner‘s Montana ranchlands, ABC’s Barbara Walters interviewed transgender beauty contestant Jenna Talackova today. Walters, who interviewed Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad in December about how his country was falling apart, talks with the 2012 Miss Universe Canada contestant about how she was disqualified from the pageant after revealing she was born a boy and had sexual reassignment surgery at age 19.

The interview airs tomorrow night on “20/20.” On Monday, Talackova will go on the Katie Couric-less “Good Morning America” and the Walters-full “The View.”

Overstock.com Buys Rights To Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum

Overstock.com has purchased the naming rights of Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, the home of the Oakland Raiders and Athletics.

The multi-purpose stadium will now be called the Overstock.com Coliseum … for now.

The website is in the process of rebranding itself as O.com, which means the stadium’s name could change at any time.

With the Raiders and Athletics leases both expiring in 2013, Overstock.com is allowed to opt out of their deal if either franchise leaves town.

Triple Crown Announcer Steps Down Due To Stress

Legendary horse racing announcer Tom Durkin has stepped down as the voice of the Triple Crown due to stress.

Durkin, who has called the last 30 Triple Crown races on network television, decided not to renew his NBC Sports contract. He will continue to call races for the New York Racing Association (Aqueduct, Belmont, and Saratoga).

“It’s just the stress got to be too much,” Durkin said. “When you’re walking around with a pit in your stomach for three months a year, just a general bad feeling and nervousness. You look up stress in the dictionary or online, and I’m a classic case of it. Sometimes you have to look out for your professional life; more importantly, you have to look out for your personal life. This is a bad professional decision and a good personal one.” Read more

Greta Van Susteren: ‘Gloria, this is almost delusional’

Two attorneys went womano-a-womano last night. One has her own cable news show. The other appears on just about every cable news show.

The case this time: Meg Whitman‘s maid-gate. Whitman, running for Governor of California, knowingly hired an illegal immigrant as her housekeeper, so says lawyer Gloria Allred who is representing the maid.

Lawyer Greta Van Susteren shredded Allred’s case:
