Brian Stelter’s ‘Reliable Sources’ Debut Pushed Back

brian stelter_304x200Brian Stelter’s debut as host of “Reliable Sources” has been moved back a week to December 8.

No word from CNN on the reason for pushing Stelter’s debut back, but the “Reliable Sources” twitter account tweeted its replacement for this Sunday:

Stelter was named CNN’s senior media correspondent and host of “Reliable Sources” on November 12 after guest hosting the show frequently over the summer following Howard Kurtz’s exit for Fox News.

His first week on-air for CNN was busy, reporting on both Lara Logan’s leave of absense from “60 Minutes” and the parting of ways between MSNBC and Alec Baldwin.

We’d expect both stories to be on the rundown for his first show hosting next Sunday.

Sarah Palin Accepts Martin Bashir’s Apology, Hits MSNBC ‘Hypocrisy’

sarah palin_304x200Sarah Palin accepted MSNBC’s Martin Bashir’s apology during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” suggesting everyone must be humble enough to accept an apology, but she did have pointed words for the “media elite bubble.”

“Who am I to not accept an apology?” Palin said. “Everyone must humble themselves and accept that offer of apology,” she continued, warning that next time a media personality wants to say something vile about her and then call her to apologize privately, she’d like them to go through her husband or children first and “then they can come to me.”

Chris Wallace asked Palin for her thoughts on MSNBC suspending Alec Baldwin, but not Bashir: “That’s the executive hypocrisy that is so prevalent in that media elite bubble,” Palin said. “It depends on the target of the vile rants, it doesn’t depend on what the rant itself actually is.”

O’Reilly: ‘They Hate Me Because I Represent Something That is Very Feared in America’

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg Visits FOX's "The O'Reilly Factor"On “MediaBuzz” Sunday, Bill O’Reilly sparred with Howard Kurtz about whether “The O’Reilly Factor” host has become more accepted in the mainstream media.

Listing off the major programs O’Reilly has visited to promote his new book, Kurtz suggested that the “narrative” of O’Reilly vs. the media elite is no longer prevalent, and that O’Reilly is a more accepted figure than in years prior.

“I disagree with you,” O’Reilly shot back. “They hate me because I represent something that is very feared in America. I made my success outside of the establishment—that’s how I did it—and they don’t like that.” O’Reilly foreshadows if he ever falls, the mainstream media will be like “jackals on my carcass.”
