Audio: Jim Leyland Rails Against Talk Radio Second-Guessers

Tigers manager Jim Leyland took some heat from fans for having the audacity to lift Rick Porcello in the 9th inning of Sunday’s game against the Pirates when Porcello was nursing a one-hitter. Not a no-hitter, but a one-hitter. What’s more, the Tigers won the game, which made second-guessing Leyland even more ridiculous. But what do you expect from Tigers fans? They’re spoiled by success.

At any rate, Leyland wasn’t having it, so he let loose on fans who call into talk-radio shows to second-guess his moves.

Bruins announcer shoves Habs fan

Not sure what’s better about this clip: Joe Haggerty of Comcast SportsNet New England shoving a Habs fan who tries to step in front of the camera, or the persistence of the fan who slides behind the announcers to proudly display his colors. This was after the B’s game one loss to Montreal.
