• Longtime ABC executive Preston Davis died Monday. Davis, 63, was the retired president of Broadcast Operations & Engineering. Davis joined ABC in 1976, beginning as an engineer in Washington, DC. He was the first African-American president of any division at ABC.

• In an interview with NBC’s Ann Curry airing on Friday’s “Rock Center”, Jackie and Warren Hance sit down for the first time to talk about the death of their three daughters in a horrific car accident when the girls’ aunt drove the wrong way on a New York State Parkway.

• In her interview with Pres. Obama Monday, Savannah Guthrie asked about Jay-Z and Beyoncé‘s trip to Cuba: “I wasn’t familiar that they were taking the trip. This is not something the White House was involved with. We’ve got better things to do.”

“Yeah they have the worst fans. No question. It’s not even loud in there. You’re at the game and you are like, ‘Man this place isn’t even loud.’ At least when you go to Chicago, it’s loud in there, it’s crazy down in Dallas but it’s not even loud in Miami.”

The Heat went from zeroes to heroes in the course of one season, so it’s not surprising their fanbase is rife with dispassionate frontrunners.

Barkley, meanwhile, said he can’t bring himself to root for Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Co.

“Listen, if the Miami Heat were playing the Washington Generals I would pick the Washington Generals,” Barkley said. “It’s something about that team that annoys me. They just a whiny bunch and I can’t root for them.”

Earlier in the playoffs, TNT had to move its pregame show from outside the arena in Miami to inside the venue, to separate Barkley from the swarming masses who engaged his attention by screaming obscenities and throwing the occasional towel. Barkley in turn shared a double middle-finger salute with Heat fans, assuring the discourse remained on an equal level.

The irony of the shout-out to O’Reilly is the song “Off That” deals with issues O’Reilly would likely support. Throughout the chorus, Drake raps about items they are “off” of, including many things O’Reilly would consider to be staples of the “gangsta rap” he often attacks. They are off “over-sized clothes and chains,” “rims,” “making it rain” and more.
