‘The O’Reilly Factor’ Plans ‘Killing Lincoln’ Preview Show

5O'Reilly BillFox News Channel will air the film “Killing Lincoln” on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 9 pm ET. The film is based on Bill O’Reilly‘s 2011 New York Times best-seller by the same name, so it makes sense that FNC will have a little cross-promotion.

Prior to the film, a special edition of “The O’Reilly Factor” will air, previewing all-things “Killing Lincoln” at 8 pm ET. Co-author of the book Martin Dugard, Glenn Beck, FNC contributors Juan Williams and Mary Katharine Ham, FOX Business Network’s Don Imus and “Factor” correspondent Jesse Watters will be guests on the special.

The film is narraterted by Tom Hanks and was National Geographic Channel’s first original docudrama, drawing 3.4 million viewers. “Killing Lincoln” documents the events leading up to April 14, 1865 and delves into the mind of John Wilkes Booth and what led him to assassinate the 16th president of the United States.

FNC Plans ‘All-American New Year’ From NYC

FNCNYEFox news Channel will ring in the New Year with a special program, “All-American New Year” on Dec. 31 at 9 pm ET.

Co-hosts Kimberly Guilfoyle, Bob Beckel, Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery, Anna Kooiman and Jesse Watters will broadcast live from Times Square in New York City. Additionally, FNC’s senior correspondent Rick Leventhal will be reporting on the safety and security of New Year’s Eve celebrations across the city and FNC contributors Bernard McGurik and Joanne Nosuchinsky will be covering the spectators who travel from across the globe to celebrate in Times Square.

Viewers are encouraged to share their New Year’s resolutions on social media by using the hashtag #foxnews2015.

Jesse Watters Booted from de Blasio Presser

WattersDiBlasio“I’m Watters. And this is my world.”

That’s how “O’Reilly Factor” correspondent Jesse Watters introduced himself to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio during a news conference in the Bronx Thursday.

Watters pressed hizzoner about why he hasn’t responded to an “O’Reilly Factor” interview request adding that de Blasio’s staff “hasn’t been very respectful.”

“I’m sure they’ve been very respectful,” de Blasio said, as  he tried to move on to another reporter.

Jesse Watters Gets Meta: Interviews Letterman Audience After O’Reilly Appearance

Fox News “O’Reilly Factor” producer Jesse Watters presented one of his trademark “man on the street” segments on the program last night.

Watters decided to get meta, asking audience members of CBS’ “The Late Show with David Letterman” how his boss Bill O’Reilly did on the program, after he appeared earlier this week.

Media Bias Segments On ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ And ‘The Last Word’

Media bias and the press were the subject of two big segments on cable news last night. On FNC’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” Bill O’Reilly sent producer Jesse Watters went to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where he asked attendees whether there was bias in the media. Al Roker, Les Moonves, Bob Schieffer, Chris Matthews and Piers Morgan were all among his “victims.”

On MSNBC ‘s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell,” the MSNBC host made the White House press corps the subject of his ire. In a lengthy, 16-minute (!) segment, O’Donnell argued that for the American reporters, the conferences “are more about the press than the President.”
