Juan Carlos Zarate has joined CBS News as a national security analyst.
Zarate previously served as the Deputy Assistant to President George W. Bush and Deputy National Security Advisor for Combating Terrorism from 2005-2009. He is currently a senior adviser at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
