Facebook’s Kay Madati and Monetization Panel Added to Lost Remote Show Lineup

We’re excited to announce that Facebook’s Head of Entertainment and Media, Kay Madati, has joined the speaking roster for Lost Remote’s NYC Show on April 24. Madati will speak on understanding the social TV fan with Erik Martin of reddit.com and Greg Galant of Sawhorse Media.

As a member of the Global Marketing Solutions team, Madati is responsible for leading the team that oversees creating effective, long-term strategies and scalable solutions for television, theatrical, and media partners.

An additional panel session, Monetizing Social TV: The Roadmap to Real-Time Revenue, has also been added to the agenda. Nilay Patel of The Verge and Jeremy Toeman of Dijit Media will explore who is actually making money off social TV.

Patel and Toeman will lead an intriguing discussion to show you how to take advantage of emerging monetary opportunities and overcome challenges faced by brands and agencies in the social TV space.

CNN’s Betty Nguyen Honored with Time Warner Award

Betty_6.9.jpgAtlanta-based CNN anchor Betty Nguyen has been honored with the Andrew Heiskell Community Service Awards for outstanding volunteer achievement by a Time Warner employee.

Nguyen established Help the Hungry which provides humanitarian aid to impoverished areas in her birth country, Vietnam. Betty spends several weeks each year in Vietnam delivering food, clothing and medical supplies to families.

Nguyen, along with CNN’s VP of audience experience Kay Madati, were honored at a luncheon today in New York.
