This is odd. You may recall that last week actor Kelsey Grammer bailed on CNN anchor Piers Morgan just minutes before the 9 PM program was set to begin.

The apparent cause of Grammer’s decision was a photo of his ex-wife Camille flashing on the screen during the open. This would lead one to assume he didn’t want to talk about bis ex-wife.

Well, on today’s  tomorrow’s edition of “Anderson Live,” Grammer is a guest of host Anderson Cooper… and talk quickly turns to his ex-wife. To make things even weirder, Cooper took a cue from the Morgan playbook, asking Grammer whether he “loves being in love.” One of Morgan’s favorite questions to guests is whether they have ever been “properly in love.”

Tragically, Morgan did not respond by showing Grammer’s empty chair, as he did for Rep. Todd Akin a month ago.

A tipster emailed yesterday afternoon asking, “What happened on Huckabee? None of the guests you said would be on were on,” referring to this Thursday post which said guests on Huckabee would include Lorne Michaels, Bill Maher, Richard Dreyfuss and Kelsey Grammer.

The program was preempted on Saturday at 8pmET by an economic town hall edition of Huckabee. But it did air at MidnightET and again on Sunday at 8pmET. Mike Huckabee interviewed each of the guests (except Grammer) during that program.
