Kirk Cameron Talks About Homosexuality Remarks on ‘Fox & Friends’

Kirk Cameron went on “Piers Morgan Tonight” a few weeks ago and made some controversial remarks about homosexuality, calling it “unnatural” and “destructive.” This morning he was on “Fox & Friends” promoting a new movie he’s in called “Monumental.” Host Brian Kilmeade also asked about those comments: “I don’t change my feeling about the comments,” he said, calling the interview “disingenuous.” “It was an interview that was supposed to be about this movie not about gay marriage, homosexuality, abortion, the presidency.”

“And that’s where he took it,” said Kilmeade, “Cause no one was watching that show anyway.”

Kirk Cameron may be 41, but he’s still feeling some growing pains. (Sorry, had to go there).

GLAAD issued a call to action this afternoon against the former teen actor after Cameron’s appearance on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” last night. When asked by Morgan about what he thinks of homosexuality, Cameron said, “I think that it’s – it’s – it’s unnatural. I think that it’s – it’s detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization.”
