Should the calls come down, Brazile likely wouldn’t be too shell-shocked. She’s already got a sweet gig with ABC. Martin, on the other hand, has his “Washington Watch” program on TV One and is a senior analyst for the Tom Joyner radio show.

CNN’s outgoing 9 PM host Larry King announced his lineup of guests this week, and it is a veritable who’s who of people in entertainment, politics and news.
Among the guests is ABC’s Barbara Walters, who will be appearing Tuesday in what CNN is billing as her “final interview” for “Larry King Live.”
Wednesday, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who will be in New York for the annual UN confab, will sit down with King.
“Saturday Night Live” has been lampooning news anchors since Lorne Michaels created the show back in 1975.
In its recurring skits about fellow NBC program “Today” Kristen Wiig plays Kathie Lee Gifford, and is paired with another actress, who plays Hoda Kotb. There is just one little thing: neither of the Kotb impersonators have been able to last more than one season on the comedy show.
“Today” investigated the pressing matter of the “Kotb Curse:”
A tipster emailed yesterday afternoon asking, “What happened on Huckabee? None of the guests you said would be on were on,” referring to this Thursday post which said guests on Huckabee would include Lorne Michaels, Bill Maher, Richard Dreyfuss and Kelsey Grammer.
The program was preempted on Saturday at 8pmET by an economic town hall edition of Huckabee. But it did air at MidnightET and again on Sunday at 8pmET. Mike Huckabee interviewed each of the guests (except Grammer) during that program.
And if you missed it, Huckabee teased part two of the Michaels interview (with SNL head writer Seth Meyers) for next week’s program.

Well, she did it.
Gov. Sarah Palin appeared during the opening sketch of tonight’s Saturday Night Live. Without going in to too much detail Tina Fey, playing Palin, holds her first news conference, telling the fake assembled press, “I just want to say how excited I am to be in front of both the liberal elite media as well as the liberal regular media.”
Waiting in the wings, the real Sarah Palin talking with SNL EP Lorne Michaels. Palin gets escorted to the news conference by Alec Baldwin, who’s told by Palin that Stephen is her favorite Baldwin brother.
Real Palin walks by fake Palin, (without acknowledging each other) makes her way to the podium and tells the fake press, “I’m not going to take your questions, but I do want to take this opportunity to say, ‘Live from New York it’s Saturday Night.’”
Again, much funnier with the video.
We’ll have it tomorrow. It’s after the jump…
