Wayne Brady to Headline RTCA Dinner

After Greta Van Susteren effectively got comedian Louis C.K. to back out of hosting the annual Radio & Television Correspondents’ Association dinner, the association announced that comedian Wayne Brady will be the featured speaker at the dinner in June.

Last month, Van Susteren wrote on GretaWire, that if Louis C.K. — “another pig” — would headline she would “refuse to go.”

“Everyone in the media should join me in this boycott,” she wrote. A day later Louis C.K. dropped out and last night the RTCA announced Brady is in. So far Greta hasn’t chimed in on the pick.

Traditionally held on a Wednesday night in March, the 68th Annual Radio & Television Congressional Correspondents dinner will be held this year on Friday, June 8.
