ABC News is making some changes to its correspondent ranks, according to a memo sent to ABC staff by president Ben Sherwood.

“ABC World News Now” co-anchor Paula Faris will become a correspondent for the network, reporting for all of the shows and platforms. Her last day on “WNN” will be Tuesday, where she is expected to receive a proper sendoff.  Faris will be replaced on “WNN” by regular fill-in anchor Diana Perez, who had been a correspondent for NewsOne. Perez will join Rob Nelson on the “WNN” anchor desk.

Linzie Janis will be joining ABC News in New York as a correspondent. She had been reporting for Bloomberg TV in London for the last four years.

Marci Gonzalez will join ABC as a correspondent for NewsOne, and joins the network from WABC where she was a correspondent.

More info in Sherwood’s note, after the jump.
