Judge Reckseidler is married to a lawyer whose partner, Mark NeJame, (below) has been hired by CNN to provide commentary on the case. Zimmerman also consulted NeJame about his legal defense. Last week Judge Recksiedler offered to recuse herself should one of the lawyers request it, and Zimmerman’s lawyer Mark O’Mara — who has also been a television legal analyst — did so.

Judge Recksiedler’s replacement is Judge Kenneth Lester, Jr. Zimmerman, who faces a second-degree murder charge in the death of Trayvon Martin, will next appear in court on Friday.

NeJame revealed that the Judge Jessica Recksiedler would likely recuse herself from the case. Anchor Gary Tuchman speculated that it was because “she’s young.”

Instead NeJame revealed, “her husband is my law partner.” Tuchman chuckled as NeJame explained, Judge Recksiedler is “a very ethical, very excellent lawyer and judge,” adding, “So there would not be the appearance of impropriety,” she would likely step aside.

NeJame also revealed he referred Zimmerman to his new attorney Mark O’Mara, who, as TVSpy reports has been a legal analyst on the case for Orlando CBS station WKMG. The Orlando Sentinel reports that at today’s 10-minute hearing, which was called specifically to disclose the connection, that O’Mara is worried about the ties and “he may ask her to give the case to another judge.”

We reported that ABC News in September and NBC News in October paid licensing fees for pictures of the Caylee and Casey Anthony.

According to the couples attorney Mark NeJame, spokesperson Larry Garrison was taking the money for himself.

“I never agreed to go on any shows for money,” Cindy told the Sentinel. “I was told numerous times that nobody was making any money.”

Garrison denies the claim, saying he resigned “due to the erratic behavior of the Anthony family over the last two months.” He says he was the “story broker” and negotiated payment with the news agencies.

Anthony made bail for a second time on Friday. The Orlando Sentinel reported, “A public-relations firm that represents Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, issued a statement saying that said an ‘individual’ who wishes to remain anonymous posted bond for Anthony because of concern that her constitutional rights have been violated.”

Also today, the Orlando Sentinel’s Hal Boedeker reports that high-profile Florida attorney Mark NeJame, who’s been advising Anthony’s parents, is making the TV rounds today: “He will be on NBC’s “Today,” on Nancy Grace‘s show on CNN Headline News and on Greta Van Susteren‘s show on Fox News Channel. “Today” said he would be on in the 9 a.m. half-hour, which WESH-Channel 2 shows at 10 a.m. There could be more interviews. I’m told he might visit CBS’ “The Early Show” and ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Boedeker writes.
