Some notes from the network news coverage of the Flight 3407 crash (and some anonymous tips after the jump):
• ABC’s Good Morning America had Chris Cuomo and David Muir live from Buffalo this morning. Here is one of Cuomo’s reports. Last night, Martin Bashir reported the news on Nightline.
• CBS had Dave Price and Jeff Glor live from Buffalo this morning. Glor will also anchor the Saturday Evening News from the crash site tomorrow. Meg Oliver anchored a special report just before 1amET:
• NBC’s Today show did not have a correspondent on the ground in Buffalo, instead using Catherine Varnum, a reporter for Rochester affiliate WHEC, for reports from the crash site. Mike Taibbi was live from Newark Airport, where the flight took off.

CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric is reporting live from the scene where USAirways flight 1549 crashed into the Hudson River a few hours ago. Couric is having to deal with honking horns along the West Side Highway while talking with correspondent Randall Pinkston and interviewing the last passenger who made it off the plane.
NBC and ABC each went until about 6:41pmET with their coverage before taking a break. CBS reported on the cold in the Midwest (while Couric stood in the cold in the east), reported a story on the cold weather expected for the Inauguration, then pitched to a Richard Roth story on the situation in Gaza before taking a break around 6:44pmET.
> And here in New York (at 7pmET) WABC-7, WCBS-2, WNBC-4 & WNYW Fox5 are all live covering the aftermath of the crash.
