CNN Ups Keilar, Acosta And Marsh, Shifts Yellin From White House To Domestic Affairs

CNN has made a number of changes to its DC correspondent ranks.

For starters, chief White House correspondent Jessica Yellin will be departing the beat to become chief domestic affairs correspondent, and a substitute anchor.

Meanwhile, in the White House, Brianna Keilar and Jim Acosta have been promoted to senior White House correspondents. Keilar was a Congressional reporter before joining the White House team, while Acosta was national political correspondent.

Elsewhere, Rene Marsh has been named aviation and government regulation correspondent. Marsh had been a national correspondent for CNN Newsource since early 2012.

René Marsh Joins CNN Newsource as National Correspondent

René Marsh has joined CNN Newsource as a national correspondent, CNN vice president of news operations, administration and affiliate services Paul Crum announced this morning.

Marsh joins the affiliate service from WSVN, the Sunbeam-owned Fox affiliate in Miami, where she was a general assignment reporter. In announing the hire, Crum praised her as  “sharp and poised reporter with a solid background in covering a vast array of news stories, from investigative to major breaking events.”

CNN Newsource serves more than 800 affiliates nationwide.
