ESPN Releases Super Tuesday Hoops Schedule

Tuesday nights in January and February will feature great SEC hoops matchups on ESPN. The Worldwide Leader has released its 2012 schedule, and every game includes at least one team ranked in its preseason Top 25, with three games featuring two ranked teams. No. 12 Florida will be featured four times, No. 2 Kentucky three times, and No. 7 Vanderbilt, unranked Georgia and unranked Arkansas twice apiece.

Video: Soccer coach fired one day after hitting reporter

Danish soccer coach Ove Christensen has been fired one day after hitting a reporter who asked him whether he could stay on as coach following a 4-0 loss. Below’s the clip of Christensen belting the reporter on the arm and then trying to play it off like it was a congratulatory pat for asking good questions.

Believe it or not, the team he coached, Randers, said Christensen was not fired for hitting the reporter, but for poor team play. So if he smacked the reporter following a 4-0 win, Christensen would still be coach…

Things the New York Giants Watch

Secretariat. Really?

Call us crazy, but we really can’t see the New York Giants getting excited about watching a movie staring a horse on their cross-country flight, even if it is unusual. According to the New York Post, “although this film is currently in first-run theaters – which means normally it would not be available to be shown on a charter flight – a special request was made to Disney through actress Kate Mara.”

We’re talking about a football team comprised of grown men not some pee-wee squad on a bus trip, right? At least the G-Men will have an excuse if they come out flat against the Seattle Seahawks.
