On Tuesday we celebrated 10 years of TVNewser at the TVNewser Show and Job Fair. More than 900 job seekers and seminar participants packed the New Yorker Hotel for a day of hot TV news topics: there were drones and there was cake. We talked about the future of Aereo, the state of local media, and diversity in the newsroom — and on the air. The day kicked off with a keynote from “Special Report” anchor Bret Baier, followed by a Q and A with the Fox News anchor. We’ll be writing up that conversation in the coming days, as well as posting several video interviews with, among others, NBC’s Tamron Hall, Fusion’s Alicia Menendez and Tribune Media president Larry Wert. In the meantime, here’s a slideshow of some of the highlights.
