The ISS Astronauts Watch ‘NBC Nightly News’

He may not have gotten a picture from space of the house in Australia with half a million Christmas lights, but Brian Williams did get an interview with two American astronauts aboard the International Space Station on “Nightly News” Monday. Rick Mastracchio and Mike Hopkins talked about life on the ISS, where they travel at 17,500 miles per hour and orbit the earth every 90 minutes.

Williams — who kicked off the interview with “First of all, what’s it like working with Sandra Bullock?” — also revealed that the astronauts watch “Nightly News” every day during their lunch. Watch:
