‘The Only Thing Different in Late Night’

ABC News has begun a new promotional campaign for “Nightline.” The spot which ran at the end of the program last night, will begin appearing on national cable channels over the next two weeks. The campaign takes aim at the competition with the tagline, “The only thing different in late night.” “Nightline” has seen a resurgence since the presidential election which has continued into this summer. The show got a boost with its coverage of the death of Michael Jackson and with NBC’s switch from Jay Leno to Conan O’Brien on “The Tonight Show.” The last time ABC News produced a promo campaign for “Nightline” was for the show’s re-launch in 2005.
