> Katie Couric sits down with Michelle Obama tonight on The CBS Evening News. “It’s easy to sort of focus on the inspiration because that’s what gets people to move. But there’s a whole lot of there…there,” Obama tells Couric.

> CNBC’s Squawk Box hits the road. Beginning next Friday, the show begins a four-city series kicking off in Miami. Joe Kernen, Becky Quick and Carl Quintanilla talk about the boom to bust condo market. Also on the map: Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Boston.

> CNN is expanding in Africa. The network announced it is hiring four new correspondents: two based in Johannesburg, one in Nairobi, Kenya, and another in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN says its part of an “major investment in both newsgathering and editorial resources” providing content for the networks and websites of CNN.
