> TVWeek has the early ratings from last night. It appears viewers watching the broadcast nets showed less interest in Sen. Joe Biden‘s VP acceptance speech than they did Hillary Clinton’s speech from the night before. All the broadcast networks’ numbers fell last night from Tuesday night.

> The CBS Evening News will air a half hour earlier tonight in the nation’s largest market. A blog that covers WCBS (yes, there is one) reports that because of the station’s coverage of the Jets/Eagles pre-season game, Katie Couric‘s broadcast will air at 6:00pm.

> And we now know which channel the Democratic nominee prefers. Photographers captured Barack Obama watching Hillary Clinton‘s speech Tuesday night on C-SPAN.
