The Ticker: Ross, Philbin, Kelly-Brown

  • ABC’s Brian Ross hit a jaywalking pedestrian outside the network’s headquarters Sunday evening. Ross says he was “slowly” pulling up to his parking spot when a 52-year-old former taxi driver walked in front of his BMW. The man suffered a broken arm, bruises and back pain.

  • Regis Philbin is scaling back his work at Fox Sports 1′s “Crowd Goes Wild” after the Super Bowl. Philbin actually told the NYTimes’ Richard Sandomir that he was leaving the show, but Fox Sports says he’s just taking February off, then returning on a limited basis.

  • NBCU PR exec Kathy Kelly-Brown has been named to the new role of SVP of Global Talent Booking. Working in collaboration with producers and bookers across NBCUniversal, Kelly-Brown will develop publicity opportunities for upcoming film, TV, book and music projects.
