> Bill O’Reilly devoted last night’s Talking Points Memo to why “President Obama is so mad at Fox News.”

> Sean Hannity also discussed that topic, calling the strategy “cynical,” “manipulative,” and “an abuse of power.” He also said the administration “doesn’t believe in a free press whose job it is to challenge those in power.”

> Greta Van Susteren commented on the remark that “Fox News is not really news,” saying: “Maybe all this time ‘On the Record has been doing an entertainment show and we didn’t know it.” She then showed a montage of some of her hard news reporting.

> Helen Thomas says the White House should “stay out of these fights” and added, “You can’t kill the messenger.”
