Tiger Woods 'Announcement' Had To Do With His Agent

The web was buzzing Sunday night regarding Tiger Woods‘ Golf Channel announcement Monday morning.

Golf fans speculated as to what Woods would discuss – ranging from an update on his health woes to his relationship with Anthony Galea.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

The big “announcement” was Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, was joining Excel Sports Management.

Before the news broke though, Steinberg had to address rumors that Woods would be the one making the announcement.

“There’s an erroneous report that he’s making an announcement, but he’s not,” Steinberg told The Associated Press Monday.

Total letdown.
