Tiki Tackles Fox & Friends

FNC has signed New York Giants running back Tiki Barber as a general contributor, Bill Shine announced today.

“Beginning next week, Barber will appear each Tuesday on Fox & Friends First (weekdays, 6-7AM EST), where he has been a frequent guest co-host.”

Shine said in the P.R.: “Tiki’s wide-ranging television experience makes him a natural addition to the Fox & Friends franchise. He’s a remarkable talent whose knowledge far exceeds the goal line.”

> Barber is becoming a “Big Apple kind of guy,” a hometown columnist wrote last week. “He’s a big hit there, on and off the field. A television career, not necessarily in sports, is down the road…”

> Update: 8pm: > TheStreet.com notes: “Currently, Barber serves as a co-host of This Week in Football on the Yes Network. Since 2002, he has been a regular guest on ESPN Radio’s Thursday night football show. Prior to these broadcasting stints, Barber anchored WCBS-TV’s morning sports from 1999 to 2001.”
