Time’s Michael Ware Moves To CNN

waremay30.jpgMichael Ware, the Time magazine Baghdad bureau chief who gained renown for in-depth coverage of the insurgency in Iraq, will join CNN as a correspondent based in Baghdad,” the network announced today.

Ware has been a frequent guest on CNN since 2001. Now, as a full-time international correspondent, he will report for all the CNN networks, and contribute regularly to Anderson Cooper 360.

Tony Maddox, senior vice president of international newsgathering operation, says “his exclusive stories and unique insights into the workings of the insurgency will increase the scope and depth of our reporting.” Here’s the full press release…
