Today Announces Summer Concert Performers

Straight up, The Today show has announced the lineup for the 13th annual Summer Concert Series, let’s just say there’s a promise of a new day (okay, we’ll stop).

Headliners include Miley Cyrus, Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, Alanis Morissette, Ashlee Simpson (sans lip sync hoe down, we’re sure), Kenny Chesney and Coldplay.

The summer series kicks off a couple months early with a “special comeback performance” by American Idol’s Paula Abdul on Friday, April 25.
