‘Today’ Song Gets Daytime Emmy Nom

The Today Show has received an Emmy nomination for its “post-Katie Couric era” song “It’s A New Day, Today.”

The Daytime Emmy Nominations, announced today, included Today’s nom for “Outstanding Original Song.” Randy Wachtler and Greg Barnhill of 615 Music and Frank Radice of NBC are credited as composers/lyricists.
